Polar Hill

Before

After
I changed the saturation to enhance the colours of my photograph. I then used the polar coordinates filter and set it from 'polar to rect' to give it this abstract appearance which will draw in the viewer more than the original photograph I took.

  1. Great place to photograph Sammie, where is that, America?
So how did the filter actually turn your photo abstract, and why will it draw the viewer in anymore than the original (think of what you set out to do with the original in your own mind)

  2. Yes, I took this in Florida last year. The filter turned my photograph abstract because instead of a direct view and taking the image in all at once, the viewer is forced to trace their eyes around the whole photograph and so it draws them in more.
